Mast was a big exhibitor at the WCE in the
Agricultural Building
with their farm products sold under the brand name "
Buckeye
" (listing shown and digitally highlighted from "The Official Directory" of exhibitors). John Adriance of Poughkeepsie, NY, bought their improved rakes and seed drills from
Aultman in 1857
. Aultman was also an exhibitor of "
Buckeye
" at the WCE (for advertising, Aultman used a Vandercook folding building views booklet at the Fair as shown but sold). The brand was ultimately purchased by Moline.
- Condition:
Excellent. Nice gilt printing and Agricultural Building stamped graphic. No tears or stains. Corners sharp. No bends. Folding hinge fine. Black "slate" panels with pencil scribbles; original pencil lacking. Back with rubbed gilt company information. Light edge wear.
