Description
This is an example of many of the various items you will find in our September sale of 350-some historical items, including dozens of medals from 12 different fairs and a variety of all types of items specifically from the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition. This hankie is in excellent condition as you can see in the photo and nicely made/sewn in the typical style of the era. It was difficult to photograph and show because of its lack of contrast and color. I'm afraid I couldn't tell you precisely if it is linen or cotton but it is not silk as were many of the souvenir hankies and scarves produced for and sold at the Expo.UPCOMING SALE--EXPO MATERIAL, COINS AND MORE
