Description
What I can gather from my online research is that Wilco was A. T. Williams Oil Co., and it was formed in 1963.In 2001 Wilco began a joint venture with Amerada Hess, but Hess had been supplying Wilco for 35 years.
That is how there is a relationship between these two companies.
I believe that Hess had some sort of similar relationship with Servco, and a few other oil companies as well.
Like Hess, these companies also came out with a toy truck at Christmas time.
They would use the same mold as the prior year’s Hess toy, but with their colors and logo.
So, a 1986 Wilco toy truck would have the same features as a 1985 Hess toy.
There is a light rub on the roof of the cab, condition is otherwise Excellent.
I had a hard time opening the battery compartment, but when I got it open it was spotless clean.
I put a D battery in (not included) and tested the lights-they work great!
A note here, the red ‘lights’ on the front corners of the bed are not actual light bulbs.
This truck has working brake/tail lights and headlights.
Length is about 11 inches.
The box says that a battery was included; there was no battery in the box.
I think that is actually a good thing.
The box is also Excellent.
There are two interior packing pieces, and a small sheet telling you how to open the bank compartment.
Shipping Policy:
I bill for the actual cost of shipping, plus 35 cents for packing materials.
I do NOT charge for “handling”.
I will combine shipping on items when possible.
IF YOU WIN MULTIPLE ITEMS PLEASE WAIT for an invoice-this will save both of us some money.
Sales Tax:
For some states, ebay has implemented a policy whereby they collect applicable state sales tax from the purchaser and remit same to that state.
This is beyond my control.
You may want to familiarize yourself with the laws of your state regarding this matter.
Customers outside USA:
I will not falsify customs documents.
The US Postal Service no longer provides tracking for First Class International Mail service.
I will continue to offer this less expensive service when package size and weight permit, but-if YOU select this option then YOU assume the risk of loss.
I guarantee that I will ship your item, but there will be NO refund if you tell me that you did not receive it.
The US Postal Service does provide tracking for the more expensive Priority Mail International service and this option is always available to you.
