Mid Century Japanese oil portrait paintings by famous artist Arisu Bizan (b. 1937).
The painting depicts an elderly woman and man aboard boats. The artist has captured beautifully the old ways of life. Both are realistic and highly expressive. His use of light makes these portraits come to life.
The frames measure~ 21" x 17".
The paintings are in very good condition and display beautifully. One of the frames has a bit of wear in the back (please view last pic.)
