    Description

    This old reddish colored tin top canister held a full bolt of thread. Now, the bolt is down to maybe 20 percent of it's original size. The top comes off to refill with a new bolt. I don't know when this was first manufactured. I haven't seen another one like it. It is about the size of a morton salt container.  It is about 5 1/2 inches high and  3 1/2 inches in diameter. The top part is shaped like a dome.
