Supplemental Historical Information:
Stollwerck is listed in "The Official Directory" of exhibitors in the German section in the
Agricultural Building
(shown and digitally highlighted). Stollwerck began manufacture in Germany in 1839 and has had many corporate setbacks such as the Depression and WW II but it still exists today as a maker of very fine chocolates. They were the first confection to make their products available in the newly invented vending machine (example shown from 1887). I also insert a product label from 1890 from the Internet for reference only. Since 2011, they have been a subsidiary of the Baronie Group in Belgium and their chocolates can still be purchased today!
