This does not have the libby glass stamped in the handle. It is a remake of the 1893 hatched made by libby glass
Clear glass  hatchet/axe
measures 8" long by 4 1/4" at the widest point.
Features George Washington image and the words "Father of this Country"
excellent condition. No chips. Natural bubbles in glass from manufacturing.
I picked this up at an estate sale and have no more information on this.
