Now for the Good Part---I am Pleased to offer this Authentic Original Antique 1924 Advertising Framed Sign of 2 Photographs at the Tri-State Fair in Memphis, Tennessee in Excellent Condition. This is Not a repro and comes from an Estate Sale. It has a Glass Face Framed in Wood. It measures 21 inches by 9 inches. It has 2 Different Great Real Photos of an Elephant Standing on a Road Culvert at the Fair with On-Lookers. This is One Photograph of 2 Different Images Under Glass in Original Frame. This is a Great Piece of Early Advertising and Southern State Fair History. You can see the T-Models in the Background and the Large Advertising Banners Overhead that read: CHOCTAW CULVERT & MACHINERY CO.---MEMPHIS, TENN.---EVERYTHING FOR ROADS AND STREETS. It reads: ACTUAL PHOTOGRAPH TAKEN AT TRI-STATE FAIR, MEMPHIS, 1924. ELEPHANT'S WEIGHT, 6 TONS, 18" 16-GA. TONCAN IRON PIPE. "THE ELEPHANT SUPPORTS THE WORLD." (ACCORDING TO HINDU MYTHOLOGY) AND SO DOES TONCAN IRON CULVERT PIPE CARRY THE LOADS OF THE WORLD AS THEY PASS OVER IT EACH DAY. "THE ELEPHANT IS LOOK UPON  AS SOMETHING MORE THAN A BEAST, WITH A HIGHER INTELLEGENCE ACCORDED HIM THAN ANY OTHER ANIMAL." AND WILL NOT TRUST HIS WEIGHT UPON ANYTHING THAT IS NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO SUPPORT HIM. "AS THE ELEPHANT IS THE SYMBOL OF ETERNITY" SO ARE TONCAN IRON CULVERTS SYMBOLS OF STRENGTH AND PERMANENCE. The Large Advertising reads: TONCAN IRON CULVERTS---TRI-STATE CULVERT MFG. CO. MEMPHIS---ATLANTA. The Photographer reads: POLAND PHOTO MEMPHIS. The Condition is Super Nice, Especially for 97 Years Old. I see Only 1 short, less than 1 inch crease at margin at bottom middle. There's one scratch in glass that you can feel with your fingernail. There's some light wear to wood frame. No repairs. You will be Very Pleased!
