  • Condition: This pre-owned in what appears to be a never displayed and new 1984 Hess Oil Tankard Truck Bank in its original box is rated in Fine to Very Fine condition. Please be advised that we have opened the box to ensure the accuracy of our assessment, and to determine whether the included, single type "D" battery was removed from the undercarriage. It has, and the compartment is free of battery acid, implying that the battery was either never installed, or has since been removed. The toy's box does display light shelf wear, foxing (light spot discolorations), light corner separation of one corner, light scratches / bending, and corner bumping. Otherwise, the box's integrity is solid, with no rips or tears on the packaging. This Hess model is both collectible, presentable and would make a fine additional to a collector's collection.
