    Description

    Very early (late 1800's?) cardboard sign advertising Clay's Rheumatic Remedy.  Rheumatism Cure.  Quack Medicine.  Manufactured by Edward J. Kieffer of Savannah Georgia.  Sign measures 10" X 14."  Small tears at the edges.  Corners are worn-especially the lower left.  Lower left of sign has darkened with age.  Cardboard is a bit brittle.  Sign was made by The Elwood Myers Company of Springfield, Ohio.
