  • Condition: Used, but in great condition. Some signs of wear on this piece are on the inside of a few of the wheels, where the wheels have rubbed up against the carrier during rolling. No splintering, stains, or dents on any of the wood parts. The ball has no chipping or cracking. The string and knob are original and in great shape as well.

    Description

    Hello!
    This is a
    Raggedy Ann Roly Poly pull toy
    made in a limited/numbered edition by the very talented craft makers at Briere.  You can see the Briere signature on both the ball, as well as the carrier.  This piece is numbered as #614.  After doing some research, it has been hard to find out the specific run of this piece.  From what I read, it seems to be anywhere from 1,000 - 2,250 pieces.  Either way, it's definitely a limited run!
    It works perfectly if you want to roll it around...or, just keep it as a nice show piece on a shelf.  Please note, the ball itself carries some weight, it's about 3 pounds  The carrier that it sits upon is very light though.  The carrier
    does have some loss of paint on the inside of 2 of the wheels where the paint has rubbed up against the carrier during rolling.
    It's a wonderful piece of Americana culture that is timeless and beloved by multiple generations.  I also have some phenomenally well kept vintage Raggedy Ann & Andy dolls from the 1960's that I'll be putting up soon, so come back to visit!
