Antique whimsy in lightning rod globe with folk art carvings, illegibly signed

Description

Awesome antique folk art carving inside lightning rod globe made into whimsy bottle. Elaborately carved 3 level stopper with 4 animal heads and scrollwork. Inside, the stopper has 2 wooden buckets swinging from wooden loops. Wooden geometric shapes fill the inside of hazy glass globe. Three pieces are loose in the bottom. There is a signature on top of stopper, but it is illegible, at least to me. Looks like "Martin" at the end. 13" tall; 5" diameter globe. The highlight is the carved stopper, which extends approx. 7.75" above the globe, and is 2.5" wide. Truly one of a kind. Will refund any significant overage in shipping charge.
