Stunning large 1930s Japanese Kutani porcelain square vase with elegant wood base that featuring hand-painted peach, coral and white chrysanthemums with leaf borders accented with gold. In Japan, the chrysanthemum is a symbol of the Emperor and the Imperial family ,In particular, a "chrysanthemum crest", the Imperial Seal of Japan is used by members of the Japanese imperial family. In 1869, The Vase has been drilled for lamp purpose. Marked Japan on the bottom.
