Antique 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition Chicago Souvenir

Description

It’s amazing that this has survived, even this well after 120+ years. It is made of shell and metal. There is a part of the shell inside, that looks like the bottom of front shell. It has flaking as you can plainly see. I have no idea what this item is called, but it is neat regardless. Please feel free to ask questions.
