Description
Jende Nanocloth Ultra bench strops are on the cutting edge of knife stropping technology The 2x6mm acrylic bases for these strops are 3/4" thick - enough thickness for handheld stropping as well as bench mounted use. Each color matches our Jende Diamond Emulsions for easy reference without the need to constantly flip over the strop to see what grit it is. Grit colors are as follows: 15 Micron (White), 12 Micron (Black), 8 Micron (Lime), 4 Micron (Fuchsia), 2 Micron (Purple), 1 Micron (Blue), 0.5 Micron (Red), 0.25 Micron (Green), 0.10 Micron (Yellow), 0.025 Micron (Orange). Please note that these strops do e our Poly Diamond or CBN Emulsions. The Jende Nanocloth Ultra is a synthetic stropping material that has no weave, so feedback is the same in directions. Other weaved strops tend to have noticeable resistance change feedback variations, a rug when vacuuming, which can make you second your stropping stroke. The Honeyb structure is very consistent. The shape allows the emulsions to fill up the honeybs, keeping more abrasive on the strop off your knife. The shape also fills up beads on the surface, giving a snow-shoe effect even scratches when stropping. The depth of the honeyb has little pression less than leather in general. Because of the depth of abrasive in the honeyb tubes, differential pressure can be used to give the strop more or less aggression adding pressure for more aggression, super light strokes to just tickle the edge for finish stropping. The color-coded Acrylic base allows you to instantly recognize the grit strop you desire to use, saving time confusion. Laser etched to ensure long-lasting clear identification marks.
