1940's NATIONAL AIRLINES Personal Representative Badge 1st Issue (RARE & NICE!)

Description

Offered is an original and quite rare (I challenge you to find another), 1934-1940's National Airlines Personal Representative Badge 1st Issue (this is NOT a flight attendant/stewardess wing). This badge was worn by those who greeted VIP's, unaccompanied minors, etc. There would be one of these reps working at the smaller stations and two working at the larger stations. The wing is silver plated brass with enameled detailing. There are no maker's marks on the back. It measures 2-1/8" in diameter. It is complete with a horizontal pin with a fully functioning come-under swivel catch. This is is a very nice example of a rarely seen badge and it shows only minor evidence of wear as described above and as observed in the photos.
