    Description

    I have for sale a souvenir medal from the 1893 Columbian Exposition that was held in Chicago, Illinois.  The medal is aluminum, it is 1 1/4 inch in diameter and in circulated condition with a spot on the obverse rim at 7 on the dial.  This medal is listed in the Eglit catalog as #141. The obverse at the rim reads 1492 WORLD'S FAIR 1892 - SOUVENIR.  In the center it shows the exposition scene.  On the reverse it reads WORLD'S COLUMBIAN - EXPOSITION, ALUMINUM - EXTRACTED BY ELECTRICITY - FROM COMMON CLAY, CHICAGO, U.S.A. - 1893.  Please see more in my EBAY STORE at TE COLLECTABLES.  (17,051)
