Up for auction is a vintage letter written on letterhead of the Iowa Columbian Commission, who were representing Iowa during the 1892 Columbian Exposition/World's Fair being held in Chicago.  Letter was from the Commission's secretary, F.N. Chase.  Letter is datelined Cedar Falls, Iowa July 3, 1891.  Lettersheet has some ink smear and a few creases.  Staining is the biggest issue with the transmittal cover, which was addressed to James O. Crosby, Garnaville, Iowa, who was Vice President of the Commission../  .
